The Ultraviolet Protection Factor (UPF) rating indicates how much of the sun's UV radiation is absorbed by the fabric. This means that a fabric with a rating of 50 will reduce your skin's UV radiation exposure by 50 times (98% UV block) in areas where the skin is protected by the fabric.

Xtreme-tek, Cool-tek, and Moisture Control fabrics go above and beyond a typical moisture-wicking material. Instead of simply wicking sweat and other moisture away, they move moisture to a fabric layer away from the skin where it can evaporate. This leaves the skin protected, comfortable and cool.
